Etcon "Volt Stik" Non Contact Voltage Tester (VT160)

Etcon "Volt Stik" Non Contact Voltage Tester Features:

"Volt Stik" detects voltage from 25 to 122,000 VAC, without any physical connections.
"Volt Stik" indicates voltage with audible and visual signals.
Unique "L slot" allows for true voltage detection.
Uses 9 volt alkaline battery (not included).

Directions:

Switch the "Volt Stik" to correct range, listen for "beep" and look for indicator LED to flash. The "beep" and flashing LED indicates the "Volt Stik" is working properly. Approach the voltage source. The closer the "Volt Stik" gets to the source the more rapid the tone and the flashing becomes.

Low Range: "Volt Stik" will start to "beep" and the LED will light if greater than 25 VAC.

High Range: "Volt Stik" will start to "beep" and the LED will light if greater than 1500VAC.

Note: For both ranges the closer the "Volt Stik" is to voltage, the faster the "beep" will become until it becomes a continuous tone.

Important: The "Volt Stik" should approach the voltage source toward the "L" slot, not the side of the probe.
