The GE Protimeter Surveymaster is used for moisture measurement in buildings.
 
Use on wood and wood floors, drywall, concrete and concrete block, stucco, plaster, masonry and EIFS.

The dual function GE Protimeter Surveymaster Moisture Meter combines the proven two-pin inspection method and the convenience of a non-invasive mode for non destructive testing.


In non-invasive mode, scan over an area. The sensor is located on the back of the instrument. View the percentage of moisture content on the digital display and an audible tone with LED lights indicate dry, borderline, or damp conditions. With a Non-invasive Pinless Radio Frequency the Survey Master finds moisture at depth where moisture is not always directly visible up to 3/4 in (25.4 mm) below the surface.
 
For further investigation, use the two pins in measure mode to show the actual moisture content in percentage of moisture via the digital display and the moisture condition is shown on the color coded scale. Pin-type probes measure moisture in wood and other building materials (use provided calibration chart for more precise readings).
 
 
The GE Protimeter Surveymaster is the industry standard moisture meter for surveying and investigating moisture in buildings. Professionals involved with the identification, management and remedy of dampness need tools that help them to:

Rechargeable or Disposable Battery Flashlights - Which One is Better? 
There's a lot of different flashlight to choose from.  So which one is the best for you?  Making
the correct decision will save you money in the long run. 
 
First, determine the purpose of the light. Will you be using it in situations for up close work or
far away lighting?  This will determine the brightness needed.
 
Jobs that require lighting to see small objects up close can utilize a lower candlepower light.
These lights are smaller and easy to work with.  Usually, they take a small battery.  Common
lights in this category would include pen lights, head lights, and any other aaa or aa light. 
 
Features for specific applications can include waterproof, hazard rated, or special features
like a clip for pocket storage or strap for helmet or head.
 
Once you've decided on a small or more powerful light, you'll need to decided on a rechargeable
or disposable battery flashlight.  Rechargeable flashlights have a higher intial cost but can save
money in the long run.  Rechargeable lights are much brighter than the alkaline battery models. 
You won't have to worry about buying new batteries every few days.  Alkaline batteries do have
an excellent storage life.  However, if your using your light every day the expense of replacement
