The complete Tramex Concrete Encounter CMEXpert Kit comes in a carrying case with die cut foam lining and contains the following:

Concrete Encounter CMEXpert Moisture Meter, Wood Moisture Probe and a Relative Humidity Probe.

The Tramex Concrete Encounter CMEXpert is a digital display version of the Tramex Concrete Encounter CME4 hand-held electronic impedance moisture meter.

It operates on the principle of non-destructive impedance measurement. Parallel co-planar electrodes are mounted on the base which, during operation, transmit low-frequency signals into the concrete floor.

To carry out moisture tests, simply brush any dust from a smooth area of concrete and also from electrodes, switch on the Tramex CMEXpert, hold to the surface to read the percentage moisture content. Theres absolutely no surface damage and no waiting.

WOOD MOISTURE PROBE
The Tramex Wood Moisture Probe is a hand-held attachment designed to take precise measurements of moisture content in wood and wood products when plugged into the Tramex Concrete Encounter CMEXpert.

Using electronic probes, or optional interchangeable electrodes, the Tramex Wood Moisture Probe is easy to use, extremely accurate, giving readings in 0.1% increments over the entire measurement range.

Readings are displayed on the digital LCD of the Tramex Concrete Encounter CMEXpert. The Wood Moisture Probe offers a most practical and accurate way of ensuring that wood is at the correct moisture level for its intended use, proving to be a vital tool for good quality control of wood floor installations.

RELATIVE HUMIDITY (RH) PROBE
When the Tramex RH Probe is plugged into the Tramex Concrete Encounter CMEXpert, it automatically changes to Hygrometer Mode.

The Tramex RH Probe provides the ideal solution for Measurements of Humidity, Temperature and Dewpoint in structural materials such as concrete flooring, as well as the environmental conditions within the building or structure.

Humidity readings are displayed in both Percentage Relative Humidity (%RH) and grains/lb or grams/kg.

The solid-state capacitive sensor in the RH probe gives accurate, fast results.

Allows testing of concrete slabs (ASTM F2170-02) or RH hood (ASTM 2420-05, BS 5325:2001 & BS 8203:2001) methods.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS are a slide action hammer electrode for measuring up to a depth of 1.5 (37mm), an Infra red thermometer for measuring the surface temperature of concrete slabs and calibration check salts for the relative humidity probe.
