    The way point spotlight i own takes four c-batteries or can be plugged into 12v charger. Why is it that when I pull 12v charging cord my spotlight doesn't wok. Do they make waypoint spotlight that ain't rechargeable?

    The flashlight you have is not rechargeable. It can be powered by the C batteries or a 12v cord. They make a rechargeable model but it does not have replaceable batteries.
    We are not sure if it would work but rechargeable C batteries might be worth a try.

    number of recharges before the battery needs to be replaced?

    3.75 hours on high, 7.5 hours on medium, and 87 hours on low.
    They do not specify how many charges the battery is designed for but you get a limited lifetime warranty on the light so if the battery goes bad you can send it to Streamlight to get repaired.
