Although it may not be evident from the exterior, serious moisture problems can exist behind EIFS.  Tramex Wet Wall Detector is specially designed for these systems.

The detection, evaluation, and accurate locating of excess moisture in the substrate beneath exterior insulation finish systems can be difficult, costly, and time consuming and can involve destructive testing of the EIFs system.

With this in mind, Tramex developed the Wet Wall Detector.

This electronic instrument will read through fiber reinforced lamina and exterior insulation to locate and evaluate excess moisture that may be present in the sheathing substrate and wood studs.

The Tramex Wet Wall Detector allows the user to scan areas to determine moisture and trace moisture back to its source.

Two ranges:
Low for 1 inch systems.
High for thicker systems to 4 inches
