The 4 in 1 Moisture Meter by General Tools is a versatile unit that features two modes of measurement (invasive & non invasive) as well as ambient temperature and humidity.

This pinless moisture detection meter is ideal for locating water leaks and measuring moisture content of wood, drywall, plaster walls, carpeting, flooring, brick, grout, soil, paper or powders,. This unit features both pin-type and flat surface (dual pad) sensors.

Does the MMH800 (moisture meter) work on 3/4" gypcrete?

Yes it will but since the meter is not specifically calibrated for gypcrete you will have to establish a baseline and compare your readings to that baseline.
