The Protimeter QuickStick Relative Humidity Sensor POL8750 is engineered for precise and fast measurement of relative humidity from 0% to 100% RH, making it ideal for low-humidity applications. Compatible with the Protimeter MMS, Hygromaster, and HygroHawk instruments, this sensor offers reliable and rapid humidity readings in just 45 seconds. If you're replacing your sensor, note that the QuickStick is black, while the Hygrostick is gray. The QuickStick is perfect for environments with low relative humidity, delivering high accuracy and durability. 

QuickStick Specifications:

Relative Humidity:
0% to 10% RH, ±3% RH at 68°F (20°C)
10% to 90% RH, ±2% RH at 68°F (20°C)
90% to 100% RH, ±3% RH at 68°F (20°C)

Range: 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) ±0.6°F (±0.3°C)

Response Time: 30% to 90% and back to 30% RH in 45 seconds @ 68°F (20°C)

QuickStick can be used with a MMS with firmware of 3.15 or higher. 

To Display The MMS Firmware Information:

Press the middle and bottom button, quickly and at the same time after MMS unit is switched off.
The following information is displayed in sequence on the screen:

Firmware Version

  • Instrument Part Number
  • %rh Calibration Curve d2-5
  • Firmware Date yy-mm-dd
  • Hygrostick Serial Number (when connected)


The Protimeter QuickStick (POL8750) can also be used with Hygromaster & HygroHawk with firmware versions 5.22 or higher.

To check firmware revisions follow the instructions below:

Turn Hygromaster "Off"
Press and hold the 2 right hand buttons simultaneously
Observe the firmware revision number which is the first number that appears.
Wait for the information to finish scrolling. This information includes instrument serial number, part number and sensor serial number (if connected)


For Hygromasters with firmware lower that 5.22 use Protimeter Hygrostick (POL4750)
