Simply slip on over existing clothing. Whether it’s metal, wood, composition or tile roof material, underlayment, plywood or just about any other surface, this clothing will slow your descent and give you time to regain your balance and footing.
SteepGear has formulated a non-latex rubber that grips to almost all dry surfaces. With an adjustable size belt, elastic leg openings, and leg room zipper, the SteepGear Roof Safety Shorts are guaranteed to fit comfortably and effectively.

Roof Safety Anti-Slip Shorts Sizes:
SteepGear has done many sizing studies and given the elastic waistband, the adjustable size belt and the elastic on the leg opening, they have developed a range of sizing with both men and women in mind.
Simply determine the average waistband size of the pants you wear and order that size range.
Do not add a size due to SteepGear going OVER your existing clothing. We have already accounted for that.

Is there any warranty with these shorts? What’s the average life of them from tearing from sliding on shingles?
09/14/2023, 01:45 PMThere is not a warranty. If there is a defect or size issue while in new condition we will gladly accept an exchange or return. The life expectancy is completely dependent on use because every roof, conditions and wearer are different.

Do you have XXL shorts with rubberized fabric on back AND front? Steepgear tells me they are producing them now in XXL like their other sizes.
