    How long does it take to register temperature changes? Looking to record changes in temperature of faucet water output.

    If I lengthened sensor cable to 50 feet, would accurate temperature conditions be measured? Looking at the possibility of using to measure temperature depth profile in thermally stratified lakes.

    Hi Dave,
    There are no manufacturer specifications when it comes to extending the wire so we have no way of knowing if the tool will function properly.
