The Trace A Leak Septic Dye Test Tablets are available in brilliant yellow green, red, or blue.
The fluorescent green and red can be detected with an ultraviolet light or by a fluorometer; the blue does not have these characteristics.
Place one or two water leak detection dye tablets in closet bowl or sink. Run water through the plumbing system.
Tablets will dye water and allow you to view leaks in the plumbing system or determine if the septic field is saturated by probing the area.

Hi I wonder if the dyed water can be traced down after the leaked water is dried in side the truck.
I would like to apply it to the leaking car trunk. Thanks,06/13/2022, 09:47 AMWhile the leak is active with the dye, you should be able to spot a drip and follow the trail to the leak. Not a certainty but it should work.

Do you have to purchase a UV flashlight for the red and yellow/green or will the sunshine be sufficient?
